This is an illustration I did for Hasbro Super Soaker. The idea of the agency J.Walter Thompson was to show a water battle executed in an oil-war painting-style.
I painted digitally and the senior art director Ralf Richter added the textures and the frame.

This is a Tryout Doodle in Painter after an old snapshot from my family´s photo album.
It shows my sister swimming in the Chiemsee, back in 1978.

I hope I don´t bore anyone with posting too much of these Live Drawing Sketches
but often I can´t show the stuff I do for a living, so this will have do do in the meantime.

I was asked by anthea associates Film GmbH to illustrate a Cover for the new DVD-Edition of "La Reine Margot" (Die Bartholomäusnacht), starring Isabelle Adjani and other stars of the french cinema. I think it was 1994 when I saw this cruel but beautiful movie in the cinema and liked it very much. So I was exited to to do the cover for the new DVD. They asked me to do it in black, white and red and in a simple comic like style. The illustration should play with religion, sex, power and violence. I made a lot of suggestions, and the client picked my own favourite, which is pretty rare.

Today I went to the Botanic Garden in Munich together with my pals Thomas von Kummant and Peter Popken. I tried to do a colorsketch with Acrylics. Tried is the importent word here. When I started it was raining, and halfway through the painting the sun came out very bright, so I ended up with a bastard between the two moods. I never did outdoor painting in a serious way, so I hardly knew what I was doing, but after some practice this summer maybe it gets better. Nevertheless, it´s fun and recharges the creative batteries.

One and a half year ago I did this hommage to Stan Sakai´s bigeared Comicbook-Hero for a Usagi-Web-Gallery of his french publisher Paquet, who is also the publisher of Thomys and my Comicbook "La Chronique des Immortels".

I just finished this illustration for the movieposter of the shortfilm "Der goldene Nazivampir von Absam 2" by munich based director Lasse Nolte.
A very funny Trash-Exploitation-Adventure-Satire kind of movie.
